A scheduled monument just outside the city of Salisbury, Figsbury Ring is a beautiful spot for a walk or a picnic. Free to visit, with impressive views over Salisbury from the top of the ramparts, as well as being a site of special scientific interest filled with wildlife, it is as much a place to visit for a peaceful walk as well as for its historical background.
